Valentine's Day treat bags

I had so much fun making treat bags for my granddaughter, McKenzie's class at Christmas that I decided to make some for Valentine's Day too. Not for sure how much the first grade boys are going to appreciate all the glitter on the toppers of the bags but I am sure the little girls are going to love all the sparkle. I used some of my new SU red glimmer paper for the hearts.....OMG...I LOVE IT!!!! Will definitely be ordering some more of that to have on hand for 4th of July and Christmas cards this year. The DSP also has some glitter on it although it is hard to see in the picture. I hope they enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them!!!

Thanks for looking!

Valentine Cards for My Pink Stamper Challenge

We had a big storm come through last night and school was canceled for today so I had a snow day to play in my craft room. Gotta love those snow days!!! :-)
I made these Valentine cards to send to friends and family and also for Robyn's challenge at My Pink Stamper.

Love this embossing folder!! Very quick and easy card. It's hard to see in the picture but I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the hearts.

I just love making Valentine cards and even got the chance to play with some new goodies that I had received last week and hadn't had time to use them yet. A perfect day of crafting!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Valentine Mailboxes

I found these little mailboxes that I had bought at Target on the Dollar Spot 2 years ago in a cabinet when I was doing some organizing in my craft room. I decided this was "the year" to finally do something with them. So I decorated them and filled them with goodies for the grandkids. The images on the doors are on Action Wobbles so they move back and forth when you touch them. Looks like Hello Kitty is dancing and the dump truck is going over some bumps! These were so fun to decorate....don't know why it took me 2 years to do something with them!  Now I wish I would have bought more!! :-)

Have a great evening!

Paper Cutz Challenge #77

This card is for the Paper Cutz Challenge #77- make a Valentine's Day card using NO hearts. This is definitely a CAS card. The red paper is a very pretty metallic paper. Fun challenge but it was a challenge to not add some hearts!! :-)
Thanks for looking..have a great Sunday evening!

Valentine card for grandson

Here is the card I made for my grandson for Valentine's Day. I always struggle making cards for the guys.  It just doesn't feel right to not add some ribbon and I had a really hard time not adding any Stickles or bling to the little collar!!! :-) I did sneak in a heart brad up in the corner with the other brads!! Hopefully he won't care.......he is only 2!
Thanks for checking out my blog!

Momo's Tuesday Challenge- Black, White & Hot Pink

Here is a card I made for my granddaughter for Valentines' Day and also for Momo's Tuesday Challenge. We were to use black, white and hot pink and it had to have at least one heart. Love these colors together and had so much fun making it!!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Where has the time gone?

WOW I can't believe the last cards I posted were in January! Where has the time gone? While taking pictures today of some cards I had made I saw the Valentine's Day cards I made for the grandkids on my camera and remembered I had never posted them. So here they are....
Hello Kitty for Miss McKenzie and the puppy one for Cody (made with a recycled Valentine I received from one of the students at school!)
