Thanksgiving goodies

I made these Thanksgiving cards and little treat bags for some of my best friends. I am so thankful to have them in my life and am truly blessed to have them as my friends. They are the best!!

Halloween Cards

Here are a few of the Halloween cards I made. It's hard to see in the picture but I sprayed some of the cards with shimmer mist I made with the new Stampin Up Champagne Mist paint---very sparkly.....LOVE THAT STUFF!!!! The first card was for my granddaughter, the middle one was for my grandson and the last one I made several of for friends and family.

Welcome Back to School Gifts

I made these little goodies for the staff at the school where I work as a "Welcome Back to School" gift. My granddaughter, McKenzie helped me punch out all the little apples for the front. We had a great time making them and the staff loved them!

What a bargain!

I found this set of Martha Stewart thank you cards at Big Lots for ONLY $2.00 for a set of 40 complete with envelopes. I thought they were really cute and had an idea to add some ribbon and some colored cardstock behind the punched out design on the bottom. What a quick and easy thank you card with just a little bit of ribbon and some cardstock and get a completely different look on each card. Now I wish I would have bought more!!

Watercolor Roses Birthday Cards

These watercolor roses are so fun to make! Here are a couple of them that I made for birthday cards.

Notecard Sets

I made these sets of notecards and a little matching box to give for birthday gifts for a couple of close friends. They were so fun to make!

It's been a while since I've posted!

I can't believe that it has been that long since I've posted on my blog! Seems like since school started I haven't had much extra time and when I did have some time.... I was cardmaking!!! :-)
So I do have a few things I have made over the past few months to share with you.

More Baby Cards

Since we have several family and friends due to have new babies in the next few months, I decided to get started on making some baby cards to have on hand when the little ones arrive. Here are two cards we made today-one for a boy and one for a girl since two of them already know what they are having. My five year old granddaughter, McKenzie was here today so she helped me make these cards too! She LOVES to turn the Cuttlebug for me!!! We had a great time!!!!

Here are the two cards we made:

We also decided to decorate the inside. We had so much fun with these cards!!

Roses, Roses and more Roses

I found this wonderful tutorial for these roses on Patty Bennett's blog and wanted to give it a try. They are so fun....I can't wait to try some other colors. It just amazes me how these roses can look so different even though I used the same colors of ink on them. I love the fact that they can be used for so many different occasions. They are very addictive!!! TFL

Cody's 1st Birthday

It is so hard to believe that our little grandson turned one yesterday. This past year has gone by way too fast! Here is a picture of the card I made for him and a picture of him with his cake.

McKenzie's Pre-School Graduation Card

Our five year old granddaughter just "graduated" from Pre-School this week and will officially start Kindergarten in the fall. To celebrate the occasion I made her this card, which she totally loved since she loves anything with butterflies on it!!!
