For You card

The challenge for our crafting group last week was to use flowers on our project. So I just had to try out these flowers from a file I got online for my Silhouette Cameo. Fun card to make and very quick and easy!

Congratulations card

One of the teachers at the school where I work was selected as Teacher of the Year for our region so I made a Congratulations card for her. Pulled out some little roses that I had bought quite some time ago and added them to the bottom of the frame. Quick and easy card but turned out very elegant.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a great day!

Love using sketches

A group of my crafty friends  have been challenging each other to use our paper crafting supplies that we have never used or haven't been used in a long time. It has been great to pull out all of these lost treasures and actually USE the supplies. We are having the best time and building up our card stashes in the process! This week we created cards from a sketch we found online and we had a blast. It is so fun to see how different everyone's cards look even using the same sketch. Here are the cards I made for this week. We only have to make one but I had so much fun creating after I got started, I could have kept going all day long making cards.

I'm finally back!

WOW I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted to my blog!!  Seems as though life sometimes gets so busy that we can't get it all done. I have however been doing lots of crafting but just didn't have the time to post anything. So my New Year's resolution  was to start posting to my blog again....I know it is almost the end of September and I am just now getting to that resolution but at least I am doing it, right? :) So my plan is to start posting some projects I have already made as well as future projects. Thanks for your patience!!

Clean & Simple- FTL #144

Came across this challenge while blog hopping Clean & Simple FTL #144 and decided to give it a try. This is my first time participating in a challenge there but it won't be my last. :) Love this layout and will definitely be using it again.

Here is the card I made for the challenge.

Thanks for looking!

Lawnscaping Challenge #11- Clean and Simple

While blog hopping the other day I came upon this site called Lawnscaping and saw they had a fun challenge for the week. The challenge was to make a Clean and Simple card...right up my alley so I couldn't wait to make a card. In fact, while I was at it I made several cards using different colors and sentiments but still used the same basic layout. So not only did I make a card for the challenge, I also have some extra cards for my stash. Gotta love that!!! Unfortunately I don't own any Lawn Fawn stamps yet so had to use a retired SU set.

Here is a picture of the other cards I made using the same stamp set and layout but just changed up the colors and the sentiments.

Thanks for stopping by and checking in!
Have a fabulous day!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #75

The challenge for this week for Cricut Cardz is to make a masculine card with wheels. Well it just so happens my grandson will be turning 3 on Monday and I needed to make him a birthday card. He loves watching monster trucks so I decided to make this card for him and enter it in the challenge for this week. I used a holographic wrapping paper for the window and chrome parts so it is very shiny.
Happy 3rd Birthday Cody! We love you!

Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog!
