Sympathy Cards

Unfortunately I needed to make a couple of sympathy cards this week. I always struggle to make these kinds of cards. I decided to go with the SU Manhattan Rose embossing folder and use some of my new linen vellum from Papertrey Ink for the embossed part. I really like it because the adhesive doesn't show through like the regular vellum.
Thanks for stopping by!

Deb,
I love the embossing on this card. My Mother's Day card that I received from one of my sons, had embossing on it. I love embossing, and it's been awhile. Thanks for the inspiration.

And, thanks so much for dropping by and commenting on my card. The background didn't show up good, but I used white embossed wallpaper. Yep, wallpaper. Glad you liked it.

This is gorgeous! I love the contrast of the vellum with the rich background colour.
